Red Hook Studios has teased some new DLC for Darkest Dungeon, titled The Crimson Court, on the game's official website. Not much is known about the DLC, other than its vampire theme and the.

The Crimson Court is the first DLC in Darkest Dungeon. It was released on June 19th of 2017 for PC, MAC, Linux and on August 22nd of 2017 for the PS4 and VITA.

Here are the list of features included in The Crimson Court:

• A parallel campaign taking place during the main quest which sheds light on The Ancestor's early days, including new cutscenes.
• The Flagellant, a new Hero class: a frontline healer that can apply strong bleed damage and receives buffs on low health and on the edge of death. Additionally, he cannot become virtuous, and only receives one unique affliction, Rapturous. 'Awash in blood and delusion, he bears the burden of a thousand lifetimes.'
• A new location known as 'The Courtyard,' which will include new curios, traps, obstacles, and a complete faction of blood-crazed foes.
• Massive, sprawling maps with locked doors, prisoner rooms, and progress saves.
• New enemies found in the other regions.
• Heroes can be afflicted with something known as the 'Crimson Curse,' which turns them into a Vampire.
• 4 new, unique Courtyard Bosses with some of the most complex and devious mechanics yet.
• A new wandering boss known as The Fanatic, a vampire hunter-esque madman who will hunt down any of your heroes bearing the curse.
• Districts: New prestige buildings that offer permanent, estate-wide bonuses.
• Lore-driven trinket sets for all heroes – with set bonuses!

The Darkest Dungeon recently just received its first DLC known as The Crimson Court. Players are introduced to a new parallel campaign with new quests, the Flagellant class, the Courtyard location, and of course a slew of new bosses to defeat.

Currently, the DLC is only available for PC, MAC, and Linux users though a release is slated to launch for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita as well.

• Recruit A Flagellant
  • Players must recruit a Flagellant through stage coach.

• Get Infected By The Crimson Curse
  • Get infected through fighting a Esquires or Sycophants within the first area of the Courtyard.

• Complete Your First Trinket Set
  • Track down matching trinkets located on the nomad's wagon.

• Build Your First District Building
  • Receive blueprint after completing a quest. This will allow players to gain access to District buildings.

• Build The Red Hook
  • The District building requires blueprint, 750 crests, along with 25,000 gold.

• Collect The Invitation
  • Invitations will drop when battling Castellans on the Baron quest.

• Defeat The Baron
  • Players must defeat the Baron boss within a Crimson Court quest.

  • Refuse to feed a cursed hero blood.

• Kill an Ally While Under The Curse
  • Simply refuse to heal a party and wait on a cursed ally.

• Contract The Crimson Curse Via Contagion
  • There's a chance two heroes will share curse when in the same building.

• Defeat The Fanatic
  • The more cursed heroes in your party the better chance you'll have to enter the random Fanatic battle.

• Rescue Someone
  • Connected to a quest.

• Have Your Entire Roster Affected By The Crimson Curse
  • Continue to swap our heroes to assure they all eventually get hit with the curse.
